Hotel Review: The Langham, Auckland (Superior Room)

I visited the City of Sails back in November 2016 for work and as much as I wanted to stay in the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour (check out my review HERE!), the hotel was running high on occupancy and the room rates were way above the rates that I paid back in 2015. Since the meetings were primarily going to happen in The Langham, Auckland, I decided to stay in the property itself since it meant being able to sleep-in and get to the meetings on time. Is Singapore secretly getting a Hilton Garden Inn in Serangoon soon?l

While checking out room rates this evening on the Hilton HHonors app, I noticed something a little different - the first result is the Hilton Garden Inn Serangoon which is apparently coming soon (first Hong Kong, now us?!). I did not actually know (assuming this is right) that there is a Hilton Garden Inn opening in Singapore (this could be great news for us Hilton HHonors members) and with a little digging, I found a little more proof to back this speculation.

Langham Refreshes Loyalty Program (1865 Privilege) - Qualification by Room Nights

The 1865 Membership by Langham Hotels & Resorts has just been refreshed with some improvements (alongside a name change). The newly-refreshed 1865 Privilege will now allow qualification (and renewal) by eligible room nights instead of just eligible stays. The names of the different tiers are staying the same but travellers are now rewarded for staying longer.
