If you have plans to stay in a Conrad or Waldorf Astoria this year, you are in luck (where Hilton Honors Points are concerned anyway). I have previously written about two other promotions that are stackable - click HERE to read more about them and find out how can you rake in Hilton Honors Points quickly this year. Otherwise, be sure to register for the previous promotions if you haven't already since it is highly possible that all three promotions will stack:
The third promotion is for people who stay a minimum of two nights - you will be rewarded with 5,000 bonus Hilton Honors Points if you stay at least two nights at a participating Conrad or Waldorf Astoria property!
If you are in Singapore or Asia-Pacific, you should definitely consider checking out the Conrad Bali. I have stayed there twice in a Conrad Suite and an Ocean View Room and I truly enjoyed it! The price is extremely affordable and there is a bunch of cheap flights to Denpasar out of Singapore daily. Room rates are US$157 ++ per night for the basic Deluxe Garden King rooms and two nights will set you aside US$314++ for two. You can potentially earn a minimum of 10,000 Hilton Honors Points or up to 20,000 Hilton Honors Points depending on your status and stay history.
Also, remember that the bonus 10,000 Hilton Honors Points is enough for two nights at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru. If you managed to snag up 20,000 Hilton Honors Points with this promotion, that is sufficient for a whooping five nights at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru (since the fifth night is free on redemption!). Essentially, stay two nights at the Conrad Bali and get two (or five!) nights free at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru!
When I visited Bangkok two years ago, I stayed at the Conrad Bangkok and got upgraded into an Executive Deluxe Corner Room for simply being a Hilton HHonors Gold member - it used to be pretty standard to expect a double upgrade when you are a Gold member but I hear this has now been changed to a single upgrade instead. Anyhow, I really enjoyed my previous stay at this property and even though it was definitely showing signs of age, the service at this property remains to be one of the best that I have experienced in the city (the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok beats this property hands down though!).
The extremely lucrative bonus Hilton HHonors points promotion with eligible Conrad and Waldorf Astoria stays (16 June 2016 to 31 December 2016) seems to be back - as usual, you will have to register for these promotions so be sure to register them now in case you forget:
Indulge in a newly refreshed Sunday Brunch at Oscar's (Conrad Centennial Singapore). The Supercharged Sunday Brunch will feature a extended seafood bar (stocked with fresh seafood and oysters), a 4m-long salad bar, premium roasts (including the famous 'London Duck') as well as a curated selection of international favourites. There is also an impressive dessert spread where you can end off (or start) your Sunday indulgence at.
If you are looking for a hotel to stay in during the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix (16-19 September 2016) this year, check out the Conrad Centennial Singapore because reward nights are wide open for redemption! While I usually do not advocate burning your Hilton HHonors Points in Singapore since that 60,000 points can be put to greater use, it is actually wise to use them for the F1 period if you intend on being here.
While shopping for hotel room nights (yes, I actually do that!), I realised that the Conrad Centennial Singapore has a HHonors Discount room rate listed - upon closer inspection, this room rate offers the same cancellation policy as the Easy Cancellation rate but it comes with a 10% discount - not bad at all! Strangely enough, I do not see an Advance Purchase (non-cancellable) rate so hopefully this is not a direction that the hotel (or brand) is moving towards.
If you have stayed at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, you will know exactly how the teddy bear in the room (or suite!) looks. I guess for many of us, it has become a secret obsession to collect the different plush toys from Conrad all around the world. Through the "Adopt a Conrad Bear" campaign, the Conrad Centennial Singapore has raised a total of S$10,613.70 for the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) which took place last December.
Christmas is drawing near and the Conrad Centennial Singapore is partnering up with the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) for a little bit of Christmas magic this year. The "Adopt a Conrad Bear” campaign is taking place today and will last until 11 January 2016 where over 440 pieces of the signature Conrad plush bears will be made available for the public to adopt at a suggested donation amount (feel free to give more than what is recommended!). Do note that this is the last chance that the Conrad Bear can be purchased as they will no longer be produced starting 2016 (I do hope the ones in the room stays on though!).
Make your hotel reservation before 14 February 2016 for any participating Hilton property in Southeast Asia and save up to 30% off the regular room rates. This sale is applicable for stays between now and 31 December 2016 (yes, the whole of next year with some blackout periods).
