Avant-garde Spanish cuisine Master Chef Alain Devahive Tolosa debuts his 2015 Asian Tour at Chihuly Lounge from 11 to 15 February 2015 where he will showcase a premium tapas tasting menu from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Chef Alain has fascinated worldwide connoisseurs with his unique approach to gastronomy. The Barcelona-born chef spent a decade at the famous 3 Michelin star elBulli where he trained and worked alongside Ferran Adrià, and developed many futuristic techniques at elBullitaller, the restaurant’s food research laboratory. He has also held prominent positions at the La Regalade in Paris and La Broche in Madrid. In 2012, he created new footprints in Asia with the opening of Catalunya in Singapore, followed by Hong Kong the next year.
Strongly inspired by his Spanish roots, Chef Alain marries traditional flavours with special culinary techniques, some of which are unique to the world of molecular gastronomy. For his Asian debut at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Chef Alain will serve up 14 premium tapas dishes with highlights such as “Peanuts with Crystallised Honey”, “Mushroom Infusion with Tofu Parmesan Cheese and Truffle Air”, “Avocado and King Crab Wrap with Caviar” and “Crispy Suckling Pork Belly with Scallops and Artichokes”.
