This is an excellent opportunity to check out the brand new Park Hotel Alexandra and you should definitely consider a weekend staycation here if you do not have anything planned in the next couple of months!
The Park Hotel Alexandra is running a Spring Splendour Getaway package on the weekends of 01 March to 31 May 2016. Guests will be able to enjoy full Club benefits as well as a premium roast buffet lunch or dinner for two persons at The Carvery. I've previously stayed in a Crystal Club Room where I've enjoyed complimentary cocktails in the evening and a room with a beautiful view.
Back in July 2015, Park Hotel Group has officially announced the opening of Park Hotel Alexandra and since then, The Carvery (which is located within the hotel) has gained quite a bit of attention for serving great quality meats at an affordable price. The Park Hotel Alexandra is located next to the iconic IKEA along Alexandra Road with pretty impressive and somewhat unobstructed views if you are on the higher floors.
Singaporeans love their buffets and there is plenty to choose from in this little city. Dinner buffets start from as little as S$20 and it goes all the way up to a pretty hefty sum. With all the different themed buffets at contrasting price points, there is definitely at least one to fit the budget and craving that you have. What is hard to find however, is a buffet with quality meats and roasts but The Carvery at the relatively new Park Hotel Alexandra brings to you just that.
If you have been to Clarke Quay (particularly the area around Liang Court), you will probably have noticed the Park Hotel Clarke Quay at some point. The hotel which mimics a gigantic castle houses Brizo Restaurant & Bar on street level. In commemoration of Singapore's Golden Jubilee celebrations this year, Brizo Restaurant & Bar is currently running 'Taste of Singapura' seafood and local buffet between now and 30 September 2015.

The Park Hotel Group has been expanding within Singapore and the greater Asia-Pacific region. I checked out the Grand Park City Hall earlier this year and was impressed by the quality of Chinese food at Park Palace. The latest addition to the Park Hotel Group's portfolio in Singapore is the Park Hotel Alexandra. Standing 13-storeys tall and adorned with a glass facade, the Park Hotel Alexandra features 442 beautifully-appointed guest rooms and suites.
The most iconic Grand Park hotel in Singapore is probably the one that is directly above Abercrombie & Fitch in Orchard Road. However, not many people (me included) know that the Grand Park City Hall located in well, City Hall, used to be the Grand Plaza Parkroyal Singapore hotel. The Grand Park City Hall is just minutes away from City Hall MRT, making it an excellent base to explore the area surrounding the hotel. If you are interested in photography or gadgets, you are also a stone's throw away from Funan IT Mall (which you should go instead of Sim Lim Square).
Park Hotel Group, one of Asia Pacific’s best hospitality groups, is strengthening its presence in Southeast Asia with two new management contracts in Thailand and Indonesia. The Group announced that it has been appointed to manage a beachfront resort in Khao Lak, Thailand and a hilltop resort in Bali, Indonesia.
