The Grand Hyatt Singapore is one of my favourite hotels in Singapore. Located conveniently along Scotts Road, this luxurious hotel is home to one of my favourite places to get authentic Italian food and drinks (separately, of course). I checked out the Club Deluxe room last year and I was truly impressed with the quality of the room and of course the Grand Club lounge which served a mean Malbec.

There has been a lot of online chatter right now on whether the change has taken effect but it does seem that the Terms & Conditions have been changed to reflect this.

The craziness that followed the Starwood acquisition news saw Hyatt scrambling and offering Hyatt Diamond. While the hotel giant has previously accepted top tier statuses with competing programs like IHG Spire Elite, Hilton Diamond Elite, Marriott Platinum Elite and SPG Platinum Elite, the conditions of getting a status match have become more stringent over time.
As I was making plans to stay at the Grand Hyatt SIngapore (again!) this morning, I chanced upon The Places You Can Explore rate which was lower than that Hyatt Daily Rate. With some digging, I found out that Hyatt is currently running a promotion that offers up to 25% off at over 110 participating hotels worldwide.
