While reading one of my favourite loyalty sites over the weekend, I read that you can purchase a membership to give you worldwide Star Alliance Lounge Access for approximately S$630 Nett via the Air Canada Maple Leaf Club Worldwide membership (CA$599). Air Canada is currently running a 10% promo and this special price is only valid until 09 June 2016.
Do note that this is NOT a Star Alliance Gold status and even though Air Canada is part of the Star Alliance network, you are not entitled to all the Star Alliance Gold benefits (apart from the Lounge access). Also, you do have to be traveling out on a Star Alliance flight in order to use these benefits. If you are interested in a Partner Membership for your spouse or partner, this will bring the annual cost down to only S$460 (CA$435) per person.
Terms and Conditions
* Maple Leaf Club members must present their membership card and a confirmed same-day ticket or boarding pass on a departing Canada, Air Canada Express or any Star Alliance member airline flight.

Flying from Hong Kong to Singapore (or vice versa) is the cheapest Suite Class flight on Singapore Airlines that you can take on miles. On my way back to Singapore from Hong Kong, I decided to check out the Singapore Airline's Airbus A380 on Business which at the time of writing, just costs 23,375 KrisFlyer Miles before applicable taxes.

Read on to find out more about this ultra-exclusive cabin on my flight from Auckland to Singapore!
