Wyndham Hotel Group's first Wyndham Garden hotel in South East Asia has just opened on one of the Asia's most-loved island destination - the Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali (previously known as The Kuta Playa Hotel & Villas) has just undergone a refurbishment and has been rebranded under a management agreement between PT Wyndham Hotel Management and PT Global Bali Investama.

Located directly across from Kuta Beach on Jalan Pantai Kuta, Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach offers newly-refurbished guestrooms with stylish and airy living spaces, including spacious executive rooms and suites with pool access and ocean views. The resort features two pools – a family pool for children and rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. Additional inclusions cover an all-day dining restaurant, a bar, a day spa, as well as meeting rooms for seminars and events. This year, the resort will undergo a further renovation and expansion adding 151 rooms, of which several are swim-up pool units. A new dining establishment will be created and the hotel’s public areas will be revamped with modern elements. Once complete at the end of 2017, the destination’s vibrant offerings will revolutionise the Kuta precinct.
The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has just announced plans to bring three more brands into Singapore - Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, EVEN Hotels and Staybridge Suites. The hospitality group has also announced plans last month to open the Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach and Hotel Indigo Bintan Lagoi Beach in Bintan, Indonesia. in the prime Lagoi Bay area of Bintan in 2019.

The relatively new brand by Hyatt offers full-service lifestyle hotels that are strategically located and they have been created for the millennial travellers in mind. The Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo will join the current portfolio of three (Park Hyatt Tokyo, Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills, Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Hyatt Regency Tokyo) to become the fifth property to open in the city of Tokyo.
Sofitel Foshan by AccorHotels has just opened in the city of Guangdong in China. The 5-star luxury property is located in China Leading Furniture City – Lecong in Shunde and it offers a direct connection to the 200,000 square-metre Louvre International Exhibition Centre, a destination hub for design aficionados. Sofitel Foshan is the brand’s first property to debut in Foshan and the 23rd property in the Greater China network.
