Update (03 April 2017): You may now redeem your Arrture Points for (physical) products now!
I have previously written about the opportunity to earn points for simply visiting participating Plaza Premium Lounges around the world through a membership called Arrture. At that point of writing, the only redemption option was a lounge-access voucher for 2,000 Arrture Points. This has changed recently however as you are now able to redeem your Arrture Points for a range of vouchers and products online.
Unfortunately the previous redemption option for access to a Plaza Premium Lounge for 2,000 Arrture Points is no longer available - the good news is that if you only require 1-hour access, it will now cost you only 1,800 Arrture Points. A 3-hour Plaza Premium Lounge access voucher at participating locations will cost you 2,500 Arrture Points instead.
|Product||Arrture Points||Redemption Locations|
|30-minute Shower Package||1,000||AUH, HKG, LHR, PNH, SIN|
|30-minute Seated Back, Shoulder & Neck Massage||1,400||HKG, KUL, LHR|
|30-minute Shampoo & Blow Dry||1,800||HKG|
|1-hour Plaza Premium Lounge Voucher||1,800||HKG, KUL, LHR|
|3-hour Plaza Premium Lounge Voucher||2,500||Various Locations|
|3-hour Private Resting Suite||4,000||HKG, KUL, SIN, LHR|
|6-hour Private Resting Suite||6,000||HKG, KUL, SIN, LHR|
As mentioned in my previous article on the Arrture membership, all travellers who gain access to any participating Plaza Premium Lounges will earn 100 Arrture Points per visit (yes this includes the free visits that you get from holding an eligible Priority Pass card issued by a bank). If you do hold an OCBC VOYAGE Card, you are in luck because you will have unlimited access to all Plaza Premium Lounges (hey you can also take a friend in with you for free!).
You may now redeem your Arrture Points for physical products and merchandise now - do note that some items have geographical limitations and therefore make sure you filter them based on the fulfillment location. The products require a minimum of 2,000 Arrture Points (which you can earn in 20 visits) to a maximum of 17,000 Arrture Points (which you can earn in 170 visits - I know!) at the time of writing and these products range from bag tags to a trolley bag respectively.
I believe it is only a matter of time before redemption vouchers for Aerotel will be made available. My speculation too is that travellers will be able to earn Arrture Points when staying at an Aerotel property (check out the beautiful Aerotel Singapore HERE!) so there is definitely going to be plenty of redemption opportunities in the future - make sure you pick-up a membership application form at the lounge the next time you visit!
