You must have seen this a hundred times now but there is currently a promotion (again!) which gives you up to 50% more Mileage Plan Miles when you purchase between now and 05 October 2017. As I have mentioned many times before, you can use these easily for Business Class flights on Japan Airlines (JAL) for less than US$500.
I always mention Japan Airlines but the truth is, you can use these miles fairly easily across all airline partners (including Cathay Pacific, Hainan Airlines and Korean Air if you are in Asia). You should definitely check the Award Chart before you purchase any miles so you buy enough. If you do intend to redeem these miles for Japan Airlines, make sure you try to get a flight that features the newest SKY SUITE III product (check out this YouTube video that some guy made!).
Since Japan Airlines is part of the oneworld network, you will be eligible to use any one of the participating oneworld lounges when you redeem for a Business or First Class award ticket. If your account is targeted for the 50% bonus, you can essentially fly from Singapore to Tokyo and then to Kuala Lumpur (or a number of other cities in South-east Asia) for just 25,000 Mileage Plan Miles which should only cost you USD 493 (SGD 671) - that's two Business Class flights on JAL for under S$700!
Enjoy up to 35% off at all participating Hilton properties across Southeast Asia and Australasia for stays that are booked between 13 March 2018 and 19 March 2018 - these promotional rates are valid for stays completed between 18 March 2018 and 31 December 2018.
In case you do not already know, there is going to be a long weekend from 30 March to 01 April coming up - we do not get too many of these this year in Singapore so make sure you treasure them! Have no plans yet? Consider staying at the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport over this weekend and save up to 30% off - all reservations have to be made by 10 March 2018 and they are non-refundable rates.
I absolutely love Alaska Airlines - more specifically, I love Mileage Plan miles (since I have never actually flown on AS-metal before). I have written about this promotion a number of times now since Alaska Airlines runs this promotion fairly often but this is a great way to travel in Business Class for very little money. From now until 9 April 2018, purchase Mileage Plan miles and get up to 40% more miles (USD 21.12 per 1,000 block of miles after discount).
If you love the meatballs from IKEA (I do!) and would like to earn a lot of miles pigging out (you do have to buy the frozen ones and heat them up at home though!), you can now earn 30X OCBC$ (12 miles per dollar!) on your OCBC Titanium Rewards Card for all eligible spend made at IKEA Tampines and IKEA Alexandra stores - physical ones only - from 1-11 March 2018.
Now it has been almost six months since I have last written about Mileslife and in case you have forgotten what it is (or you are new to this platform), it is basically a way for you to make payment to a selection of merchants which in-turn earns you more miles - there are no fees involved in using this so it is a win-win situation for both parties! If you do not already have an account, you will have to download the app on your mobile phone (using my referral link gets you 1,000 bonus miles extra!). From 24-28 February 2018, enjoy double miles on all dining transactions made on Mileslife!
IHG Rewards Club has been running a number of Book Direct offers for the last couple of years to offer bonus IHG Rewards Club points for members who book directly - this is to minimise commission paid to OTAs like Expedia. This year, IHG Rewards Club members will once again have the chance to earn up to 70,000 bonus points for simply completing three eligible stays before the end of 31 December 2018 - you get 1,000 bonus points for simply signing-up!
There is finally a worthy promotion for the World of Hyatt program - all eligible members will be able to earn up to 1,000 bonus World of Hyatt points per night for eligible night between 15 February 2018 to 15 May 2018 (you will have to checkout before the end of this promotional period.

Using Chope for restaurant reservations is one of the easiest and smartest ways of doing so - you will also be able to earn Chope-Dollars (C$) with each fulfilled reservation and redeem them for dining vouchers as well as KrisFlyer miles! If you do not already have a Chope account, you should definitely sign-up for one as there are no costs involved in signing-up or using the platform. If like me, you have C$ to redeem, Chope is currently running a promotion (I do not believe it is targeted) to offer everyone a 200 C$ promo code (to be utilised on the next visit) when they redeem their C$ by 12 March 2018.
American Express is currently offering the opportunity to earn S$150 statement credit when you spend at least S$500 at any of the participating properties across the Hilton Portfolio in Asia-Pacific with your American Express Singapore Airlines Credit Card.
