30% F&B Discount in Greater China for Marriott Bonvoy Members (All Tiers) Extended Until 31 December 2019

While it may be more difficult for some of us here in Asia-Pacific to earn Marriott Bonvoy points (since we do not have a co-branded credit card in Singapore), being Platinum Elite or higher in the region allows you to enjoy 20% off F&B across all participating restaurants in selected hotels - yes this includes alcohol! While the discount ranges from 10% to 20% (depending on your membership tier) here in Asia-Pacific, all Marriott Bonvoy members enjoy a flat 30% F&B discount across all participating properties in the Greater China region. This benefit was initially supposed to expire on 30 June 2019 but it appears that it has now been extended until 31 December 2019.

In addition to the 30% discount that you can enjoy across participating locations, you will also be able to earn 10 Marriott Bonvoy points per USD (minimum spend of USD 10 required) which is a nice perk. While the maximum discount is only 20% here in Singapore, earning Marriott Bonvoy points from my frequent drinking sessions have been increasingly attractive as of late. Just as a reminder, you do not need to be an in-house guest in order to benefit from the discount or to earn points - you will just have to spend at least USD 10 (before applicable taxes) to earn points which is extremely reasonable.
