Conrad Singapore to Exit American Express Love Dining Programme - No More 50% off Dining at Lobby Lounge, Golden Peony and Oscar's

Love Dining by American Express allows you to save up to 50% on your dining bill at selected restaurants in Singapore. The Conrad Centennial Singapore has been a member of this program for the longest time and American Express Platinum members have been able to enjoy 50% savings on the total food bill across Oscar's, Golden Peony and Lobby Lounge. From 31 July 2019, the Love Dining benefit across all participating restaurants within the Conrad Centennial Singapore will end.

The Love Dining benefit is only applicable to holders of the American Express Platinum Credit Card and higher - this includes the American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card, The Platinum Card and of course, the ultra-exclusive Centurion Card. If you do not have one of the aforementioned cards and you do meet the income requirement, I highly recommend the beautiful Platinum Card since it gives you a ridiculous number of perks throughout the year. Signing-up for The Platinum Card using my referral link will get you 40,000 bonus Membership Rewards Points (equivalent to 25,000 miles) if you spend S$5,000 within the first 3 months.

It is worth noting that the Conrad Centennial Singapore joined the prestigious Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) programme back in January this year and it is certainly interesting to see how they have pulled out of the Love Dining programme. At the time of writing, it seems unlikely that American Express will be adding a 'replacement' for the Conrad Centennial Singapore immediately as the announcement mentioned the two newly-launch SKAI and Clove at the Swissotel The Stamford. For what it's worth, the Chillax partnership with the Lobby Lounge at the Conrad Centennial Singapore was supposed to end on 31 May 2019 so it would be interesting to see if that gets renewed.
