Hotel Review: Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort (Ocean Front Suite) - Luxurious Cliff Edge Property

One of my travel highlights this year is traveling to Uluwatu in Bali - the flight from Singapore to Bali is easy and I highly recommend Singapore Airlines' Business Class product on the 787-10 Dreamliner. I have flown it multiple times and I really think that it is the best regional Business Class product out there. The American Express Platinum Concierge somehow managed to negotiate with the InterContinental Bali Resort on my behalf to convert the airport transfer (which was included in my room rate there) into a private transfer to Uluwatu for a fee. As such, it was not long before I arrived in Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort for one of the most luxurious weekends that I have ever spent in Bali.

Hotel Review: InterContinental Bali Resort (Premium Club InterContinental Duplex Suite) - Perfect for Couples and Small Families

I was truly excited to check out the InterContinental Bali Resort after hearing so much about it so when I found out that the hotel has only quite recently gone through a massive refurbishment phase, I decided that it was the right time to check out one of the newly-renovated Premium Duplex Suites. Check out my review of the beautiful luxury Bali property!

Hotel Review: Park Hyatt Siem Reap (Rooftop Garden Suite) - Luxurious Haven in the Heart of City

As soon as I cleared immigration and picked up my luggage, I met up with a Park Hyatt Siem Reap representative out front who promptly took my bags and escorted me to the car. Now a lot of people do not actually know this but the Park Hyatt Siem Reap actually enjoys one of the best locations in the city - it is just a short 20-minute drive from the airport and it is within walking distance to Pub Street which is a great place for food, entertainment and drinks. If you are planning on checking out various attractions around the city, the Angkor Archaeological Park is just located 8km away. Read about my review in a Rooftop Garden Suite here!

Hotel Review: InterContinental Bangkok (Executive Deluxe Room) - Adjacent to Chit Lom BTS Station

When I visited Bangkok back in February (yes this stay was almost 8 months back), the hotel rates were through the roof for some reason on that weekend that I was there. As such, I decided to redeem some of my IHG Rewards Club points for a stay at the InterContinental Bangkok. I flew in from Haneda to Bangkok on Japan Airlines Business Class and was pleasantly impressed by the overall experience - the food (both in terms of taste and presentation) was great and the on-board service was truly memorable. Even though I was given a premium lane pass, I decided to use the automated gates instead since the queue there was even shorter.

Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Melbourne (Pacific Club Room) - Short Walk from the City with Great Views!

The Pan Pacific Melbourne was rebranded from the Hilton Melbourne South Wharf (which I have personally stayed in at least three times) back in 2017 and ever since then, the property has gone through refurbishment to ensure that both the hardware and software are in line with the Pan Pacific brand globally. I flew in to Melbourne on Emirates and since I was traveling on Business Class, I got to enjoy a complimentary chauffeur-drive service from the airport to a place of my choice. Check out my review of the Pacific Club King Room here at the Pan Pacific Melbourne!

Hotel Review: Element Kuala Lumpur (One Bedroom Skyline Suite) - Large and Affordable Hotel near KLCC

As some of you may already know, I went to Kuala Lumpur for two consecutive weekends in order to complete a status challenge with Starwood Preferred Guest before the official merger that took place sometime in August. Since I have never stayed in an Element-branded property before and the one in Kuala Lumpur looks pretty nice, I decided to book the One Bedroom Skyline Suites at the Element Kuala Lumpur for the weekend. Honestly the suites are really big and the space feels a little awkward since a lot of it is just emptiness but the low room rates here make this property a great choice for budget-conscious travellers.

Hotel Review: JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach (Premier Marina Bay View Room)

As a newly-minted Platinum Elite member in the Marriott Rewards program, I was eager to test out some of the benefits here in Singapore - it only makes sense to invest a good amount of money each year in selected loyalty programs if you are going to make use of the benefits that come with the status that you have worked so hard for. Since I have personally stayed in most of the Marriott International properties (including those from Starwood) here in Singapore, I opted for the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach since I have not actually done a proper stay here.
