Conrad is China's Leading Hotel Brand - WTA

Conrad Hotels & Resorts has been recognized as “China’s Leading Hotel Brand” by one of the most distinguished industry award programs, the World Travel Awards (WTA), at the WTA Asia & Australia Gala Ceremony, held in New Delhi on October 10. Conrad, the luxury brand of hotels under the umbrella of Hilton Worldwide, boasts five properties in Greater China, located in Beijing, Dalian, Sanya, Hong Kong and Macao.

“To be named ‘China’s Leading Hotel Brand’ is a true honor for the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand, and is a testament to both the efforts of our world-class team and our commitment to China,” said John Vanderslice, Global Head of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands for Hilton Worldwide. “As Chinese travelers have been seeking more experiential satisfaction compared to just material benefits from the hotels that they choose, we have been the hotel brand catering to these experiential needs – through truly personalized service, innovated with the most recent technologies, and properties that are inspired by the locales, to intimately connect our guests to the environments in which they stay. We plan to continue to be the leading hotel brand in China, offering the most intuitive service to the modern luxury traveler.”

Claiming “China’s Leading Hotel Brand” was not the only accomplishment for Conrad hotels in the Asia-Pacific region at this year’s World Travel Awards. The brand’s individual properties also received eight other WTA accolades, including “Indonesia’s Leading Resort” for Conrad Bali, “Singapore’s Leading Business Hotel” for Conrad Centennial Singapore, and “South Korea’s Leading Hotel” for Conrad Seoul, just to name a few. Conrad Macao Cotai Central also won the award for “Asia’s Leading Green Hotel", moving beyond the country-level to claim the title for the entire region.
