Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Singapore Pacific Club

In my previous stay at the Pan Pacific Singapore's Skyline Suite, I was also given access to the Pacific Club located on level 38.

The club provided an excellent panoramic vantage point that allows travellers to soak in the majestic city view of Singapore (especially at night). As mentioned previously, the Pan Pacific Singapore is my favourite hotel for a staycation in Singapore. The excellent level of service and centralised location make it a great base for you to explore this city.

Afternoon Tea is served from 3pm to 5pm at the Pacific Club. This is complimentary for Pacific Guests. What I really like about the Pacific Club is the wide selection of Gryphon Tea. If you have not tried Gryphon Tea out, you're missing out! The club is open 24-hours so you can pop by any time for a pot of tea or coffee so long you have club access.

Enjoying a good pot of tea while overlooking Singapore's iconic harbour view is a great experience. Different kinds of sweets (including Nyonya desserts) were also served. For guests who have just checked into the hotel, the Afternoon Tea is a great time for you to settle in and recover from a long flight (if you are an international visitor or business person). Complimentary WiFi is also provided in the hotel (and the lounge) so you can get some work or research done.

I was lucky enough to be seated next to a window overlooking the Marina Bay Sands and the harbour when the Singapore Flag flew past. Since Singapore's National Day is coming up next month, there have been multiple rehearsals that have been going on at the floating platform.

Evening drinks and canapés are served from 6pm to 8pm. I would highly recommend all Pacific Guests to come to the lounge during these hours. The selection of drinks is excellent and the canapés are usually quite good! Despite having so many rooms, there's ample of seating space for you to spend some quality alcohol-indulging-time here.

Moët & Chandon Rosé was also served during my stay - I believe this a norm. It's great to see that great wines and champagnes are actually provided during cocktail hour. I have been to hotel lounges where the house reds and whites are terrible - this is definitely NOT the case here. The Pan Pacific Singapore's Pacific Club offers great views, great service and great food. If you have to spend a lot of time in your hotel for work, I cannot recommend this place enough.
