Lunar New Year at the PARKROYAL on Beach Road

The Lunar New Year is creeping right up! If you have not made any reservations for your reunion this year, you may wish to try giving the Plaza Brasserie a call to check if there are any slots left. Even if you do not wish to have your reunion dinner there, there is something you have to try this year!

What better way to celebrate the Lunar New Year than to eat the zodiac animal itself? From now until 05 March 2015, the Plaza Brasserie in PARKROYAL on Beach Road is introducing two lamb dishes to welcome the Year of the Goat. For a grander affair, host a reunion with your family, friends and business associates at The Ballrooms with our 8-course Prosperity Menus that offer a wide range of auspicious delicacies.

For lunch, the Prosperity Feast (S$48++) at Plaza Brasserie (Level One) comes with a few special dishes that are handpicked for this special festive season. Forget the usual Yusheng, at the Plaza Brasserie, the signature Fruitful Yusheng is dotted with refreshing fruits such as tangerine, peach, rock melon and green mango. Do note that the Prosperity Feast costs slightly more on Lunar New Year Eve (18 February - S$58++) and Lunar New Year (19 and 20 February - S$68++).

More importantly, you will get to enjoy new chef specialities including Lamb Stew with Herbs (my personal favourite!) and Lamb Siew Mai, specially created to welcome the year of the goat. At our dinner buffet, usher in a wealth of abundance savouring Boston Lobster (Half Shell) in White Pepper Sauce (one serving per person) and Mini Brown Rice Balls with Minced Pork Filling.

If you are thinking of having your Reunion Dinner at The Ballrooms, you will be entertained with  musical and lion dance performances as well as thrilling tea-pouring stunts by the expert tea masters from Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant.
