Singapore Airlines to Reduce Jakarta Service from 01 December 2016

With effect from 01 December 2016, Singapore Airlines will be reducing its operations to Jakarta by five weekly flight due to runway maintenance works at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta as directed by the Indonesian civil aviation authorities.

The five weekly flights that will be cut between Singapore and Jakarta are SQ962 and SQ963 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Singapore Airlines will progressively contact customers with bookings on affected flights to accommodate them on other flights. The airport runway maintenance works have also put a hold on the SIN-CGK-SYD (Singapore-Jakarta-Sydney) route that was supposed to be launched on 23 November 2016 - this has been put on hold as well due to the maintenance works.
