How to Book Complimentary Chauffeur-drive Service on Emirates for Business and First Class Passengers?
Apart from the on-board bar and shower (if you are traveling in First Class!) on Emirates that most people look forward to, passengers traveling in Business Class and First Class may also be eligible for complimentary Chauffeur-drive services to and from the airport. This means to say that if you have a return flight from Singapore to Dubai, you should be eligible for up to four complimentary limousine transfers (to and from the airport).
As I will be traveling in Business Class on Emirates soon (my first time so I am pretty excited!), I wanted to share this so people who are booked into the same cabin class or higher knows about this privilege. Do note that this service is not available if you have redeemed a reward ticket via Emirates Skywards airline partners for travel on Emirates (with the exception of Qantas). Since mine is a revenue ticket, I do not have to worry about this and as you can see from the above picture, you do not have to utilise all of the free service.
There is a fixed distance (typically measured in kilometres) that Emirates will cover so if you leaving from Changi Airport, you may not request for a pick-up from say, Kuala Lumpur even though it is possible by car. With that being said, the distance is usually extremely reasonable and in Singapore there are no mileage restrictions within the national borders - a SGD 7 charge per direction is applicable for Sentosa Island entries and exists though.
Emirates will arrange for a limousine to pick you whenever you travel on an eligible flight in Business or First Class and this will take you to and from the airport - your final destination does not need to be a place of residence and it can even be the beach if you so desire (just be mindful of the mileage restrictions).
