I first wrote about how lucrative Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles are back in May last year when there was a fascinating 50% bonus on all purchased miles for eligible accounts but ever since then, the maximum bonus that I have seen is 40%. In any case, that very same promotion is back and you can now purchase Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles and get a 40% bonus if you purchase at least 30,000 miles at one go.

There are so many ways to use Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles - you can even use it for extremely cheap First Class and Business Class flights from Hong Kong (even though you do have to position yourself there first) or you can even redeem it on Emirates (slightly more expensive now) where you can check out the famous A380 product and the on-board bar.
