Earn Double Night Credits with GHA DISCOVERY - 1 August to 30 September (Registration Required)
GHA DISCOVERY is currently running a global promotion to offer double night credits when you register and stay by 30 September 2022. Do note that you will have to manually opt-in to this promotion so make sure you do it now before you forget - by simply consuming eligible nights during the promotional period, you will be able to obtain or keep your status faster but it is obviously easier to qualify based on stays across different brands.

For the sake of clarification, bonus tier night credits that are earned as a result of this promotion will not roll over in 2023. GHA DISCOVERY comes with some exciting benefits and back in 2016, it was the best hotel loyalty status that one could hold for local staycations as the highest membership tier offers double upgrades (when available) and up to 6:00 PM late check-out. While some of the benefits have been nerfed over the years (through various relaunches as well), it is now actually possible to obtain the highest tier from just three stays (across three different brands).
GHA DISCOVERY members may obtain the highest tier by staying either 30 nights (or 15 nights during the aforementioned period), spending USD 15,000, or by staying across just three brands. With some careful planning, you can easily obtain Titanium status with just three eligible stays and honestly, it seems like everyone is a Titanium member these days so your chances of an upgrade or a late check-out are now a lot slimmer.
The GHA DISCOVERY is not a bad hotel loyalty program as it does have a number of interesting properties and brands under its portfolio but I would probably not go out of my way to obtain any status that I do not already have with the program. If you are based in Singapore, World Elite credit cards (e.g. Citi Prestige Card) will give you a direct upgrade to GHA DISCOVERY Titanium status.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
