The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card to Reduce Vouchers for Renewals from 2024
The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card is a little bit of a strange credit card - it sits in between The American Express Platinum Credit Card and The American Express Platinum Card (which is a charge card) but it had the highest income requirement at some point. American Express will be reducing the vouchers in the annual membership pack for Card Members whose renewal occurs during or after January 2024.
Complimentary One Night Stay (Frasers Hospitality)
One of the best things about The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card is the Frasers Hospitality voucher that allows Card Members to enjoy two free nights at any participating Frasers Hospitality property around the world. While you may continue to use your vouchers for a free two-night stay, Card Members whose renewal occurs during, or after January 2024 will only receive a voucher for one night stay.
Removal of S$100 Dining Voucher (Tower Club Singapore)
The Tower Club Singapore is a members-only club located in the penthouse of Republic Plaza - Card Members of The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card used to enjoy a complimentary S$100 Dining Voucher each year that can be used at one of Tower Club Singapore's dining establishments but this voucher will be removed for renewals occurring on and after January 2024.
Most people are holding on to The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card under the one annual fee benefit from holding The American Express Platinum Card. While these changes are negative, the benefits and vouchers from the card are offered at no additional cost - if you are paying an annual fee for this card, you will be better off with The American Express Platinum Credit Card or The American Express Platinum Card instead.
