Delight with More: Stay Twice, Earn a Free Night - Targeted Offer with Marriott Bonvoy (Check Your Account!)

Marriott Bonvoy's first global promotion offering double elite night credit and 1,000 bonus points per night ended on 23 April 2023. While waiting for the announcement of the next global promotion, I noticed that my account has been targeted with a separate offer that is likely to be a targeted offer - the Delight with More offer allows me to earn a Free Night Award (valued at 35,000 points) after consuming my second eligible stay during the promotion period.

For context, I am currently a Titanium Elite member who has 50 nights consumed in 2023 and that means I have enough nights to renew Platinum Elite - I am not certain whether these targeted offers are supposed to incentivise me to consume more nights towards renewing Titanium Elite (at 75 nights) but I will definitely be taking advantage of this offer. With the Delight with More targeted offer, I will earn a Free Night Award (valued at 35,000 points) after consuming two eligible stays between now and 31 August 2023 but award redemption nights will not count towards fulfilling the conditions of this promotion (which is a shame as I coincidentally have two award stays booked during the promotional period).

Assuming I do two single-night stays to trigger this promotion, I can effectively earn up to 17,500 bonus points per night across two separate stays. At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the Free Night Award earned with this promotion works the same way as the Free Night Award (valued at 40,000 points) that Titanium Elite members can choose as part of their Annual Choice Benefit at 75 nights - this means to say that I am not sure whether I can top-up the difference if the number of required points exceeds 35,000 points. With that said, this is still a really nice promotion that I will most definitely be taking advantage of over the next couple of months.
