Getting S$310 cashback from spending S$988 is effectively a 31% cashback - this is also on top of what your credit card earns so it is a pretty good deal if you are an eligible new customer. In order to qualify for this promotion as a new customer, you must not currently hold any principal CIMB credit cards at the time of application and at the start of the promotion period. Additionally, you must also not have a CIMB Credit Card account that was terminated or closed in the last 12 months before the month in which your new Eligible Card is approved.
There are three different CIMB Credit Cards that you can apply for under this promotion:
CIMB Visa Infinite: 2% cashback on travel, overseas spending, and online spend in foreign currencies with a S$2,000 minimum spend each statement month; 1% cashback on everything else.
CIMB Visa Signature: 10% cashback (capped at S$20 per category) on online shopping, groceries, beauty & wellness, pet shops & veterinary services, and cruises with an S$800 minimum spend each statement month; 0.2% cashback (no cap) on everything else.
CIMB World Mastercardᵀᴹ: 2% cashback on dining, online food delivery, movies, digital entertainment, taxi rides, ride-hailing, automobile, and luxury goods with a S$1,000 minimum spend each statement month; 1% cashback with a S$500 minimum spend each statement month otherwise.
TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 is a great value choice for budget-conscious travelers but its slightly longer walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station may make it less convenient compared to more accessible (but pricier) options in the area.
