World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys: 3K Bonus Points Every 3 Nights (Max 21K Bonus) - 01 March to 30 April 2024
World of Hyatt has finally unveiled the first global promotion for 2024 - members can earn 3,000 bonus points for every three nights consumed between 01 March 2024 and 30 April 2024, up to 21 nights. Hyatt co-branded cardholders will also be able to earn 1,000 additional bonus points for every three nights consumed at selected properties in participating regions.

World of Hyatt members can earn up to 21,000 bonus points for up to 21 eligible nights consumed during the promotional period - this works out to 1,000 bonus points per night which is decent, but not fantastic. One of the most annoying parts of the World of Hyatt program is the gap between these global promotions - while the Hilton Honors loyalty program has its own set of pitfalls, this is where it shines in comparison since the global promotions are back-to-back. For the sake of clarification, free night awards (including redemption nights using points) will count towards eligible nights for the purpose of this promotion.
While World of Hyatt Points are typically best utilised at expensive properties (e.g. the Park Hyatt Kyoto), you can sometimes get excellent value from Category 1 properties as well (especially during peak periods where the cash rate is significantly higher). There is currently a 20% sale on World of Hyatt points and you can effectively purchase them at 1.92 US cents each through 9 April 2024.
