Capri by Fraser, Changi City Has Been Sold and Reflagged to Dorsett Changi City Singapore
Capri by Fraser, Changi City was acquired by TPG Angelo Gordon, Far East Consortium and Atelier Capital Partners in March 2024 after Frasers Hospitality Trust (FHT) passed on an offer to acquire interests in Capri by Frasers at Changi City. The 313-room property has officially been reflagged as Dorsett Changi City Singapore which now comes under the management of Dorsett Hospitality International.

At the time of writing, it is unclear whether any refurbishment works will be conducted to realign the property with the overall Dorsett branding but the newly-reflagged property has begun accepting reservations for stays since 03 September 2024. Dorsett Changi City Singapore is conveniently located next to Changi City Point, and within walking distance to the Singapore Expo with convenient access to the MRT network via Expo MRT Station.
For holders of The American Express Platinum Reserve Credit Card, Capri by Frasers at Changi City used to be one of the hotels where you could redeem your complimentary night(s), but this is no longer an option with the sale and rebranding of the property.
