Marriott Bonvoy x KrisFlyer: Earn 2,500 Bonus Points for 3 Nights (Stay by 31 December 2026)
Marriott Bonvoy is offering 2,500 bonus points to members who have linked their accounts under the Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer Preferred Partnership and complete three paid nights after registering. Registration is open from 1 October to 31 December 2026, and all three nights must be completed by 31 December 2026. There is a catch worth noting upfront: the bonus is limited to the first 20,000 members who complete the stay requirement, so timing matters more than usual.

Do note that the three nights do not need to be in a single stay but only eligible nights paid for with money (at a rate that earns Marriott Bonvoy points) will count. The following do not count: points redemptions, Free Night Awards, Cash + Points, complimentary stays, employee rates and travel industry rates.
The most unusual feature of this promotion is the ranking mechanism. Members are ranked by the date they complete their third Eligible Night, not the date they register. Registering early does not secure a spot; staying early does. Given the size of both programmes in Singapore and the region, I would not leave the qualifying nights until the December school holidays. If you have paid Marriott stays coming up in October or November, register now so those nights count towards the cap while it is still open.
I linked my Marriott Bonvoy and KrisFlyer accounts primarily for the status accelerator, and this promotion is a pleasant bonus on top of it. For context, I have focused my flying on oneworld and continue to hold Qantas Platinum (oneworld Emerald). That remains my primary airline status. However, KrisFlyer accounts for the majority of my award redemptions, and much of that is Singapore Airlines Economy on short regional hops. Having Star Alliance Gold on those flights is a meaningful upgrade to the experience without diverting my paid flying away from oneworld.
Under the Preferred Partnership, Marriott Bonvoy Platinum, Titanium and Ambassador Elite members receive an instant match to KrisFlyer Elite Silver upon registration. They can then upgrade to KrisFlyer Elite Gold by completing four qualifying flights within six months. As a Titanium Elite member, I am now working through those four flights. For a Singapore-based traveller who books regional Economy redemptions and the occasional Scoot flight, these benefits add up quickly over 12 months.
On its own, 2,500 Marriott Bonvoy points is a modest bonus. It is not worth booking a stay purely to earn it, but it is a nice way to pad your balance on stays you are already making. The bigger opportunity remains the Preferred Partnership itself. If you hold Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite or above and fly Singapore Airlines or Scoot even occasionally, linking your accounts for the KrisFlyer Elite Gold accelerator is the real value here, and this promotion is a small sweetener on top.
