Hilton Honors: Buy Points with a 120% Bonus (Purchase by 21 November 2026)

Hilton Honors is now offering a 120% bonus on purchased points for purchases of 5,000 points or more made between 7 October 2026 and 21 November 2026 (11:59pm ET). This is a step up from the 100% bonus that Hilton has run repeatedly over the past year, and it brings the effective cost down to roughly 0.45 US cents (about 0.58 Singapore cents) per point.

Hilton points normally cost 1 US cent each. With the 120% bonus, every 1,000 points you buy (with a minimum of 5,000 points) becomes 2,200 points in your account. The promotion allows a maximum of 240,000 purchased points per calendar year, which works out to 528,000 points in total after the bonus. Points.com bills in US dollars, so most Singapore credit cards will hit you with a foreign currency transaction fee of over 3%.

At about 0.58 Singapore cents per point, this is the cheapest Hilton has sold its points in recent memory. For context, the repeated 100% bonuses over the past year priced points at 0.5 US cents, so a 120% bonus represents a meaningful improvement. That said, I would only buy points with a specific redemption in mind. Before purchasing, price the stay you want in both points and cash, and buy only when the points cost works out cheaper than paying the cash rate. Hilton's dynamic pricing means award costs at aspirational properties can shift, so speculative stockpiling is rarely the best use of money. The sweet spot is topping up an existing balance to close the gap on a specific booking, particularly for Fifth Night Free redemptions where the value stretches further.
