Get S$500 Cash Reward with HSBC Credit Cards (Apply by 18 October 2026)

HSBC has upsized its SingSaver sign-up reward. New HSBC credit cardholders who apply between 9 and 18 October 2026 can now get S$500 cash via PayNow, up from S$450, after spending S$500 on their new card. That makes it the highest cash reward among the bank sign-up offers I am tracking this month.

Eligible Cards

The promotion covers four HSBC credit cards:

  • HSBC Revolution: my pick for miles chasers, as it is one of the go-to 4 mpd cards for online and contactless spending.

  • HSBC Live+: a cashback card for dining, shopping and entertainment.

  • HSBC Advance: up to 2.5% cashback on everything, both local and overseas.

  • HSBC TravelOne: a travel card with transferable points. Do note that you must pay the S$196.20 annual fee (incl. GST) to qualify for the reward.

Choice of Rewards

Instead of the cash, you can choose one of the following:

  • S$500 Cash via PayNow

  • Dyson Airstrait (worth S$799)

  • 28,000 Max Miles (worth S$504)

  • Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones (worth S$649)

  • Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene hard floor cleaner (worth S$729)

The Max Miles option works out to roughly 1.8 cents per mile. Unless you value miles that highly, I would take the cash, which is guaranteed and flexible.

How to Qualify

  • Be a new HSBC credit cardholder. You must not currently hold any HSBC credit card. HSBC is stricter than most banks here: holding any HSBC credit card, even a different one from the card you are applying for, makes you an existing cardholder, and existing cardholders do not get the new-customer reward.

  • Apply through SingSaver between 9 and 18 October 2026. Use the links in this post, then complete the SingSaver Rewards Redemption Form emailed to you after applying.

  • Spend at least S$500 by the end of the calendar month after your card account is opened. If your card is opened in October, you have until 30 November 2026. Instalment plans, cash advances, bill payments, fees and refunded transactions do not count.

  • Keep the card for at least 12 months. Rewards may be clawed back if you cancel early.

  • Be patient. Rewards are typically sent within four months of HSBC confirming that you qualify.

If you do not already hold an HSBC credit card, this is an easy win. S$500 of spending earns you S$500 in cash, and the generous spend window means most people can hit it with their usual monthly expenses. For miles chasers, I would pick the Revolution: you walk away with the cash and a card worth keeping in your wallet long after the reward has landed. If you prefer TravelOne, remember that the annual fee brings your net reward down to roughly S$304.

If you already hold an HSBC card, or want to compare this with the other banks, see my page of the latest credit card sign-up offers, which is updated whenever new promotions go live: Best Credit Card Sign-Up Bonuses.
