NoMad Hilton Singapore to Open in Late 2026: A New Orchard Road Landmark
It is no secret that Singapore's hotel scene has been on an absolute tear over the past few years, but the latest addition still caught my attention. Hilton has confirmed that NoMad Hilton Singapore will open in late 2026, marking the lifestyle brand's first foray into Asia Pacific. For a portfolio that has largely lived in New York, Los Angeles and London (via the Bow Street property in Covent Garden), a Singapore debut is a significant statement of intent.
The 19-storey hotel will sit in the heart of Orchard Road, and rather than leaning on a single signature restaurant, NoMad is rolling out four separate dining and bar concepts under one roof. That is a lot of F&B real estate for a single property, and it tells me Hilton is positioning this as a destination for locals as much as hotel guests.
The kitchen and bar programme is being led by Leo Robitschek, NoMad's global head of bars and hospitality development, whose cocktail programme has previously picked up a James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Programme and a spot on the World's 50 Best Bars list. Robitschek has also made two notable appointments alongside the Singapore announcement.
Josh Harnden joins as global culinary director for the NoMad brand. He previously held the Partner and Creative Culinary Director role at Eleven Madison Park, with earlier stints at One White Street, The Noortwyck and the original NoMad NYC kitchen. He will oversee menu direction and culinary standards globally, with a direct hand in the Singapore F&B programme.
Leading the kitchen locally is Chef Lorenz Hoja, appointed director of culinary for NoMad Singapore. Hoja spent over a decade working under Joël Robuchon, including at Singapore's two-Michelin-starred L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, which is about as strong a local pedigree as one could ask for in this role. Rounding out the leadership team is Bernardo de la Garza as general manager, who arrives with more than 18 years of experience across Six Senses, Hyatt and Accor, most recently as general manager of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.
NoMad already sits in Hilton's portfolio following the group's majority stake in Sydell Group, and NoMad London (Covent Garden) was the brand's first hotel bookable through Hilton Honors. A Singapore property extends that reach into Asia Pacific for the first time, which is a meaningful addition for anyone stacking Hilton Honors Points or holding Gold or Diamond status.
NoMad is bringing its first Asia Pacific hotel to Orchard Road in late 2026, headlined by three distinct dining and bar concepts. Here is the breakdown.
