The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is quite possibly the most beautiful IHG property in Singapore. Opened in late 2017, this property is located in a quieter area of Singapore (which is quite popular amongst expats) and the rooms (albeit small) are luxuriously-furnished. When I stayed in a Club Riverview Studio King room last year, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I think it is safe to say that this property has the best Club InterContinental Lounge (with a proper cocktail menu) in the country.

InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay Now 50,000 Points a Night (Down from 60,000)

When the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay first opened in Singapore back in 2017, it required 60,000 IHG Rewards Points per reward night. The hotel is the country's second InterContinental-branded property and it features luxurious rooms and suites (albeit small) in the heart of Robertson Quay. While shopping for hotel rooms recently, I noticed that the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay only requires 50,000 IHG Rewards Points now for a free night - this puts it on par with the InterContinental Singapore in Bugis which I personally prefer.

I stayed at the new InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay a couple of months ago and checked out the Club Riverview Studio King. When the hotel first opened towards the end of 2017, the room rates here are consistently higher than the InterContinental Singapore in Bugis (which is still my preferred IC property in Singapore). However, while I was 'window-shopping' for a weekend staycation, I realised that you can now get a breakfast-inclusive rate at the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay for as little as S$175++.

The InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is one of the newest hotels in Singapore as it was one of the latest hotels to open in 2017 (which was a great year in Singapore for all of us hotel-lovers). Not to be confused with the InterContinental Singapore in Bugis, the InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay is located in a quieter and somewhat residential area of Singapore but with all that being said, it still minutes away from the city.
