InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has just signed a management agreement with Lao International Development Co. Ltd to open the first InterContinental-branded hotel in Laos. Slated to open in 2021, the InterContinental Vientiane will become the second hotel in the capital city of Laos that is managed by IHG. This new-built luxury hotel will feature over 400 rooms and it will be located near to the upcoming World Trade Centre which is set to become the city's largest commercial hub when it opens.
