Earlier this morning, I wrote about the rumours that have been floating around the internet about Mileslife’s suspected shutdown in China - I have managed to get hold of the founder and CEO of Mileslife today and he has confirmed that the China business is not closed.

If you have been using Mileslife conscientiously, you may realise that certain functionality have stopped working as of yesterday (or even earlier!). There are rumours floating around the internet that the app has been shutdown and businesses in China are owed plenty of money (this has not been verified but that is what I am hearing from the grapevine).

If you are currently collecting Qantas Frequent Flyer Points or you would simply like to extend the validity of your point, you can now do so on on Mileslife! From now until 11 April 2019, you will be able to earn up to 10,000 bonus Qantas Points through reward and welcome bonuses.

The OCBC VOYAGE Card is one of my recommended credit cards to hold if you enjoy the finer things in life (e.g. complimentary airport transfers and unlimited Plaza Premium Lounge access). In partnership with Mileslife, OCBC VOYAGE Cardholders can now earn 5 VOYAGE Miles (VMs) per dollar for all transaction made through the app (excluding top-up of Mileslife Credits and gift card transactions) from 28 February 2019 to 30 June 2019.

From 22 January 2019 to 28 February 2019, enjoy 5X KrisFlyer miles on all eligible spend made on Mileslife - this is capped at 1,000 bonus miles per user and a maximum award pool of 5 million bonus KrisFlyer miles for the aforementioned campaign period. Mileslife needs no introduction (but in the event that you need, please click HERE to find out more) and if you dine out often, you should definitely check to see whether your favourite merchants are on the platform since you can typically get up to 3 miles per dollar on your dining transactions (you can also earn miles for a bunch of other products like hotel stays and spa treatments). Mileslife is currently offering double miles on selected restaurants (they change every week) so you can potentially earn up to 6 miles per dollar at these places!

I have not been using Mileslife as regularly as I would have wished but getting free miles by walking a number of steps each day and getting a chance to win some miles by opening the app do make it slightly more lucrative. For the month of September, Mileslife is offering users the chance to earn 1,200 bonus miles by complete three tasks (hopefully this is not targeted once again since their terms and conditions do not typically mention this).

Mileslife is a great way to supercharge the accrual of miles especially when bonuses are in place - there is currently the opportunity to earn up to 8 miles per dollar (on top of credit card spend) at selected restaurants. This means to say that if you are using the UOB Preferred Platinum Visa credit card, you can essentially earn up to 12 miles per dollar on dining which is crazy if you think about it! Apart from spending, users are able to accrue miles by simply completing a few simple tasks.
