The JW Marriott Auckland is still refurbishing its guest rooms and suites (with an expected completion date in November 2024). I stayed in a Deluxe Room (non-refurbished) and have found the experience to be lacking of a typical JW Marriott property.

SO Sofitel Auckland to become AccorHotels' 8th Property in CBD - opening in May 2018

It is no secret that the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour is my favourite hotel in Auckland but this may change with the opening of the SO Sofitel Auckland as well as the Park Hyatt Auckland later this year.
