JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach to Open on 15 December 2016
The official rebranding of the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach will happen next week on 15 December 2016. With 634 beautifully-appointed rooms and suites, this brand new hotel was designed by the world-renowned French designer Philippe Starck to feature the designer's signature furnishings in each one of the guest rooms. Following this official rebrand, four more F&B outlets and a JW Spa will be unveiled in 2017.
The South Beach to become JW Marriott Singapore
Let's face it, The South Beach has not been performing as well as investors and operators had hoped it to be. Sure, there was a lot of excitement when the hotel first opened but now that it is fix months in, there are finally talks to appoint Marriott International (who seems to have deep pockets following the acquisition of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide) to manage The South Beach which in time will be rebranded as the JW Marriott Singapore if the deal goes through.
The South Beach
If you have passed by the City Hall area lately, you must have noticed the large-scale construction that is going on across from Suntec Singapore. The mixed-use development that is currently developing, will be home to a brand new luxury hotel known as The South Beach. The hotel will be conveniently located adjacent to the Esplanade MRT Station with an overhead bridge on Nicoll Highway that directly connects to Suntec Singapore.
