Used one of my Nightly Upgrade Awards (NUAs) at the W Osaka to secure a beautiful Marvelous Suite. The hotel is located on Midosuki Boulevard and within walking distance to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori.

The wait is finally over! W Singapore - Sentosa Cove is now approved to start accepting leisure bookings from local residents (i.e. staycation) in Phase 2 of Singapore’s reopening!

The W Taipei is still one of my favourite luxury hotels in Taipei and as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I was accorded an upgrade into the beautiful Marvelous Suite on my latest stay.

After obtaining Platinum Elite status on the Marriott Rewards (soon to be called Marriott Bonvoy) program, I have been a lot more eager to try out properties because the 4:00PM guaranteed late check-out benefit is something that I value a lot. Located in the Xinyi district, W Taipei is one of the most iconic hotels in the city of Taipei - it is also just a stroll away from Taipei City Hall Station, making it easily accessible via the Taipei Metro. There are no lack of luxury hotels in Taipei but if you are looking for a property that belongs to an international chain, you will not find any strong contenders from IHG or Hilton. On the other hand, you will find a number of properties from Starwood and Marriott here - hotels like the W Taipei offers a bold and distinctive decor that is not overly done (unlike some W Hotels in the world) but equally memorable.
