Online Check-in 48 Hours before Emirates Flight

Effective immediately, you will now be able to check-in to your next Emirates flight 48 hours (up from 24 hours) before departure via desktop or your mobile devices. Online check-in will close 90 minutes before flight departure but having that increased lead time means you will now have greater flexibility in choosing the seats you want (and more importantly, to beat that snaking queue at the airport)! Upon checking-in online and printing your boarding passes, passengers can proceed to drop their luggage at the online check-in counters (usually much shorter queues!) before heading down to immigration and security. If your Emirates flight does arrive and depart from the United States, boarding passes will only be issued 24 hours in advance (even though you can still check-in 48 hours prior to departure).

30% off Flight Redemptions (KrisFlyer Miles) on SQ

When Singapore Airlines ran a 50% off flight redemptions promotion last year, we all thought it was crazy. Still with that being said, it was Singapore's Golden Jubilee year last year and the whole SG50 pride was in full swing. 'Buying' Miles through Credit Card Annual Fees in Singapore

Almost everyone I know wants to get their credit card annual fees waived but if you are a miles collector (and since you are reading this article, there is a high chance that you are), it is sometimes perfectly sensible (smart even!) to pay the annual fee for your credit cards in order to earn bonus miles on your renewal. Trip Report: Singapore Airlines Business Class (777-300ER) - SYD to SIN (Sydney to Singapore)

On my recent trip back to Singapore from Sydney, I managed to try out J Class (Business Class) on board the Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ER (Three Class). While the airlines have won multiple awards over the years for being one of the best airlines in the world, I have been told that the business cabins are truly a league above the rest. Together with James Park Associates, Singapore Airlines has introduced brand new Business Class seats on board their 777-300ERs with a more contemporary design and the use of metallic colours (for all Apple fans, think Rose Gold).

Flying Nannies on Etihad?

Now in case you have not already heard, it has been quite some time since Etihad has announced the introduction of Flying Nannies (on board long-haul flights) to help you take care of your children (even just for a while!). This is something that do not come up as often so I wanted to take the opportunity to mention it again - and also because there are a couple of sales that are happening right now.

Lounge Review: China Airlines Dynasty Business Class Lounge Taipei

During my last trip to Taipei, I stayed at the beautiful Grand Hyatt Taipei (which is rumoured to be Taipei's most haunted hotel) and the amazingly opulent Mandarin Oriental, Taipei. On my way back to Singapore, I checked out the China Airlines Dynasty Business Class Lounge Taipei and was immediately blown away by how beautiful it is. As part of the benefits for holding an ANZ Travel Visa Signature Card, I have unlimited access to Veloce Lounges around the world and this lounge used to be part of that list - it is sadly now being removed.
