Qantas to Open New First Lounge in Singapore Changi Airport by End of 2019

Qantas to set to open a second lounge in Singapore Changi Airport - a brand new First Lounge that will offer seating for 240 customers as well as premium a la carte dining options with Asian-inspired menus. In addition to that, the airline will also be expanding the existing Business Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport. Lounge Review: T/G Lounge - Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)

If you have been following me on Instagram, it is no secret that Bali is one of my personal favourite getaways. In fact, I have already been to Bali five times this year and there is no saying what may happen in coming months. In my opinion, the best flights from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) are operated by Singapore Airlines and KLM - both of these airlines use the Premier Lounge and Garuda Indonesia Lounge respectively for Business Class passengers. I think it is safe to say that the Premier Lounge is perhaps one of the most unimpressive and uninspiring airport lounges that I have ever been to. As such, I was really surprised to find out that the T/G Lounge (which I have been three times now this year) is so much nicer even though it looks fairly uninteresting from the outside.

Trip Report: Singapore Airlines Business Class SQ942 787-10 - SIN to DPS (Singapore to Denpasar)

The Regional Business Class product of Singapore Airlines is one that is often talked about - the 1-2-1 cabin configuration offers direct aisle-access for every single seat and the lie-flat seats are definitely comfortable enough for a medium-haul flight. Even though I have experienced this previously on the delivery flight from Charleston to Singapore, I have not actually flown it for leisure. On my latest trip to Bali, I decided to book flight SQ942 which is operated by the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.

Trip Report: Emirates EK352 Business Class 777-300ER - DXB to SIN (Dubai to Singapore)

Emirates is my carrier of choice in 2018 and that is mainly due to the fact that their Business Class fares are a lot more affordable than say, Singapore Airlines and also because the product itself is quite good. I have only quite recently obtained MVP Gold status (which gives me 100% bonus miles on eligible flights) on the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan program by crediting all my business class flights on Emirates (and then some) towards it. This is the final segment for my flight from New York back to Singapore (via Dubai) and it may be long overdue but I thought it might be interesting to people who are curious about the 777-300ER product on Emirates.
