Hai Tien Lo (Pan Pacific Singapore) to unveil New Menu on 01 March 2017

Award-winning Cantonese restaurant, Hai Tien Lo (海天楼), will be unveiling a refreshed menu from 01 March 2017. Located within the luxurious Pan Pacific Singapore, Hai Tien Lo is led by Executive Chef Lai Tong Ping (黎东平) to present a menu that will feature premium seafood and uniquely crafted dishes. A comprehensive Fine Wine List will also be made available for diners who would appreciate perfect food and wine pairing.

It has been a year since EMPRESS by The Privé Group opened up within the Asian Civilisation Museum and I remember my last visit to this amazing space has left a lasting impression on how good the food actually was. Therefore, I was really excited to be given the opportunity to check out the Valentine's Day (2017) menu here at EMPRESS before anyone else got to sample it. From 13 February 2017 to 14 February 2017, indulge in intricately-prepared Cantonese fare with a romantic view of the iconic Boat Quay as you celebrate the season of love at EMPRESS.

With so many Italian restaurants in Singapore, it is becoming increasingly difficult to stand out. As part of a campaign by Small Luxury Hotels of the World, a couple of international influencers (hey you can see some of them in the reflection!) and myself were treated to an evening soirée and a dinner at this charming Italian restaurant along Club Street which is actually nestled within The Scarlet Singapore. Casa Tartufo which literally translates into the House of Truffles, is well-deserving of its name. The restaurant, which honestly feels like an extension of someone's house, has an obsession with the use of quality truffles long before they were commercialised here in Singapore.

Park Hotel Clarke Quay has finally unveiled a brand new all-day dining restaurant along Robertson Quay which is out to impress. Occupying the space where Brizo Restaurant & Bar used to sit, PORTA Fine Food & Import Company has transformed this entire space into a venue that exudes beauty and modern charm. The new restaurant shows no remnants of Brizo-past and the food is for the lack of better word, stunning. Led by Executive Chef Michael Suyanto who was previously leading the team in Bistro du Vin with the Les Amis Group, PORTA is truly a pleasant surprise and one that I have been impressed with right from the moment I stepped foot in.

Located on the second level of the hotel, Wah Lok serves up delicious Cantonese fare that had stood the test of time over the years.
