AccorHotels has just announced a new management contract with strategic partner SC Capital Partners Group that will re-brand the existing seven-storey Micasa Hotel Apartments Yangon rebrand to Mercure Yangon Kaba Aye in Quarter 3 of 2017. Located in close proximity to the famed Shwedagon Golden Pagoda, the serviced apartment is the perfect “home away from home” for long and short term stays.

When Park Hotel Group first announced the introduction of the Destination brand, they did not mention whether or not it will be a brand new property that is opening this year or simply a rebrand. It appears that the Premier Inn Singapore Beach Road has quietly been rebranded to the Destination Singapore Beach Road with a more muted colour scheme (in the rooms) but keeping the same affordable price tag.

AccorHotels has just signed a hotel management agreement with one of the largest and longest-standing owning and management hospitality companies in Mauritius, the New Mauritius Hotels Limited. This agreement will see AccorHotels to relaunch the Fairmont Royal Palm Marrackech in May 2017 which will be significant for developing the Fairmont Brand in Africa. The property will be located just 12km away from the city of Marrackech and it will be feature uninterrupted views of the Atlas Mountains while being nestled in the heart of a century-old olive grove.
