I wrote about the quiet opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon previously and it seems like the hotel has started to take reservations from 01 August 2017. Information about the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is still pretty scarce at the moment but here's what we know about the room rates and room types for now - this is Singapore's cheapest Hilton property so it is perfect for weekend mattress runs!
At the time of writing, room Advance Purchase rates here at the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is a flat 15% off the Flexible Rate and it starts from just S$153++ (approximately S$180 nett). At the moment, the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is listed as a Category 2 hotel and therefore a free night here will only cost 10,000 Hilton Honors Points (or even potentially even lesser with the upcoming changes to the Hilton Honors program).
|Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon - Room Types and Room Rates|
|Room Type||Room Size (sqm)||Flexible Rate||Advance Purchase|
|Guest Room (19sqm)||19||$180++||$153++|
|Deluxe Room (21sqm)||21||$190++||$161++|
|Deluxe Room City View (22sqm)||22||$200++||$170++|
|Deluxe Room with Balcony (22sqm)||22||$210++||$178++|
|King Room with Sofa Bed (21 sqm)||21||$220++||$187++|
The prices are accurate at the time of writing even though at this stage I am probably a little uncertain about the prices - S$153++ sounds too good to be true (all I can think about is mattress running for status retention) but hey it's a tiny 19sqm room.
If the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is indeed a Category 2 hotel, redeeming a night at just 10,000 Hilton Honors Points is a dream. However as you can see below, the Points and Money Reward rate is incorrectly set up at the moment - it costs more to book a Points and Money Reward rate as compared to any other listed rates (which is definitely an error!).
I would advise caution against booking a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon for the moment but if you have some spare Hilton Honors Points to burn, there seems to be very little blackout dates and in the case where the Category 2 classification is an error, you will most likely get to keep these rooms at a really good 'price' of just 10,000 Hilton Honors Points per night.
