If you do not have many KrisFlyer miles in your account and wish to take advantage of this promotion, check out some of the furthest flights in Zone 2 and 3 (since they require lesser miles) like Manado (Zone 2) which is a 3.5-hour flight but costs only 3,750 KrisFlyer miles on Economy each way. If you have been planning to visit Siem Reap or Koh Samui, this is also an excellent opportunity as these flights are generally quite expensive (since an oligopoly exists in these routes) and redeeming your KrisFlyer miles on these routes might be an excellent idea.

I have not personally tried the SilkAir Business Cabins but they do not look too impressive - the upside is that you will get to use the SilverKris Lounge (Terminal 2 or Terminal 3) in Singapore if you redeem a Business class award flight but the hard product looks average at best. I would personally advise against redeeming a Business class award flight unless it is a mid-haul flight that is over 3-4 hours.
