Fly Etihad Airways First Class on Business Class Fares - OCBC VOYAGE Cardholders
The OCBC VOYAGE Card has introduced some changes at the start of the year and despite lowering the earn rate on dining expenses from 2.3 VOYAGE Miles (VMs) to 1.6 VMs per dollar, it is still a really good card to have since it gives you unlimited access to plaza premium lounges (+1 guest) and it also comes with a great VOYAGE Exchange concierge service that you can take advantage of. What caught my eye recently however was the ability to fly on Etihad Airways' First Class with the purchase of any Business Class return tickets to selected destinations - you will have to book between 01 March 2018 and 30 April 2018 for travel between now and 31 December 2018.

This is not the first time that OCBC is offering such privileges and some of you who applied for the card when it first launched might remember a similar promotion sometime around September to November of 2016. These promotional return tickets must originate from Singapore and the complimentary upgrade from Business Class to First Class will only apply to the following destinations - the prices listed here may fluctuate slightly due to currency fluctuation and market fare changes:

Now the Business Class product on Etihad Airways does not seem bad at all but offering a complimentary upgrade to First Class (First Apartment if you are flying on an A380!) is truly impressive. Do note that the payment must be made with the VOYAGE Credit Card and this includes Bank of Singapore VOYAGE Card, Premier VOYAGE Card and the OCBC VOYAGE Card.
