Shangri-La's Golden Circle to Extend Expiring Award Points in 2020 to 31 December 2021

Shangri-La Group has already announced that they will be extending Golden Circle tier statues for all Diamond and Jade members globally at the start of the year. Today, the group has sent out an EDM to notify members that expiring Golden Circle Award Points will be extended by a year - members will now have until 31 December 2021 to utilise points that were due to expire on 31 December 2020.

In recognition of the global COVID-19 situation, Shangri-La's Golden Circle has taken the initiative to extend the expiry date from the end of 2020 until 31 December 2021. As a quick reminder, Golden Circle Award Points are great for F&B redemption (especially if you are a Diamond or Jade member) and I highly recommend that you check that out before using them for room and suite redemption stays.

If you are keen on redeeming your Golden Circle Award Points on stays, members will be able to save up to 50% off the number of GC Award Points required for a free night for bookings made between 15-31 October 2020 - all nights will have to be consumed by 31 January 2021.
