The HSBC Revolution Credit Card is one of the best credit cards in Singapore for miles and it is free forever - no annual fee to worry about, ever! Eligible new-to-card HSBC customers can now choose between S$180 cashback or S$200 worth of Lazada and RedMart vouchers when they charge at least S$800 worth of qualifying spend from Card Account Opening Date to the end of the following month (so it is best to apply at the start of the month).
In order to qualify for the S$200 voucher or S$180 cashback, the HSBC Revolution Credit Card applicant will have to be a new-to-card customer which means that he or she must not currently hold any existing HSBC Credit Cards as a principal cardholder and he or she must not have cancelled one in the last 12 months. Additionally, eligible applicants who complete and submit a card application online between 01 January and 28 February 2021 with MyInfo via SingPass will receive an additional SGD 20 Lazada and RedMart Vouchers (on top of the welcome bonus).

Unless you tend to shop a lot on Lazada or RedMart, I would personally pick the S$180 cashback for the sign-up gift as that is a lot more versatile. Getting S$180 from spending just S$800 is effectively a 22.5% cashback and that is a fantastic offer since you can potentially also earn 4 miles per dollar with the HSBC Revolution Credit Cardon these transactions.
As mentioned earlier, you will have to charge at least S$800 worth of qualifying transactions to your new HSBC Revolution Credit Card by the end of the following month so if your card account opening date is 10 January 2021, you will have until 28 February 2021 to chalk up this spend (but try to do it earlier as transaction and posting dates are different).
