There has been a number of changes to the American Express Love Dining programme and we have seen the removal of long-standing partners like TWG Tea and Burlamacco at the start of 2021. Today, it appears that a brand new partner has been added to the Love Dining programme - Platinum Members can now save up to 50% off the total food bill at Regent Singapore's award-winning Italian restaurant, Basilico.

Basilico is located within Regent Singapore and it emphasises on fresh, seasonal, and authentic Italian cuisine. According to the information published on American Express, qualifying food items include the usual a la carte menu (Antipasta, Zuppe, Pasta e Risotto, Pesci e Carni, Pizza, and Local Favourites ) but also the Dinner Set Menu and Weekday Lunch Buffet.
The Basilissimo Set Lunch is currently priced at S$65++ per adult while the Basilissimo Set Dinner is priced at S$80++ and S$90++ for a three-course and four-course meal respectively. The discount is applicable to the total food bill so you just need to order the right number of qualifying items - it goes without saying that 50% off the Dinner Set Menu and Weekday Lunch Buffet is extremely attractive and definitely one that I will be utilising myself. Weekend Brunch is excluded from the Love Dining privilege so you will not be able to enjoy the same level of discount, unfortunately.
