IHG One Rewards Targeted Offer - Get Up to 8 Bonus Elite Night Credits (1 September to 10 October 2023)
IHG One Rewards has just rolled out targeted offers to members of the loyalty program - as a Diamond Elite member with only four consumed nights in 2023, my account has been targeted with an exclusive offer of up to 8 bonus Elite Night Credits (ENC) for eligible nights consumed between 01 September 2023 and 10 October 2023.

According to the terms and conditions of the promotional offer, targeted members will receive four bonus ENCs per four nights consumed during the aforementioned promotional period - up to a maximum of eight bonus ENCs per registered account. Do note that while the bonus ENCs do count towards Milestone Rewards and elite status, they do not qualify as rollover nights. As a quick reminder, here are the number of elite nights required for the respective elite statuses in the IHG One Rewards program:
Silver Elite: 10 Nights
Gold Elite: 20 Nights
Platinum Elite: 40 Nights
Diamond Elite: 70 Nights

While there are some perks that elite members of the IHG One Rewards program enjoy, some of the more lucrative ones can only be unlocked through Milestone Rewards - for example, I got my Diamond Elite status last year through a 'Straight to Diamond' offer which was pulled after a few days and therefore, I did not manage to unlock any Milestone Rewards in my journey to being a Diamond Elite member. In order to enjoy things like suite upgrades and lounge access, you will have to select them as part of your Milestone Rewards.
While the eight bonus Elite Night Credits will not influence my decision to move any of my upcoming stays to an IHG property, this is a great way for people who are close enough to a significant milestone bonus (e.g. close to 40 nights for an Annual Lounge Membership) to consider a mattress run.
