Marriott Bonvoy Brings Back Popular Global Promotion with Double Night Credit and 1,000 Bonus Points Per Night - 13 February to 29 April 2024
Register for Marriott Bonvoy's first global promotion of 2024 to earn double elite night credit and 1,000 bonus points per eligible night for nights consumed between 13 February 2024 and 29 April 2024. Do note that registration has to be done by 15 April 2024 only eligible stays completed after registration during the aforementioned promotional period will count towards the promotion.

Marriott Bonvoy has been running this promotion for the last couple of years and this is a great way to qualify (or requalify) for elite status in the program very easily and cheaply (since each eligible night counts as two during the promotional period). Do note that only eligible paid nights count towards this promotion - this means that Free Night Award or free nights using Marriott Bonvoy points will not enjoy double elite night credits.
Even though there are a handful of global promotions that Marriott Bonvoy runs throughout the year, this is in my opinion, the best one to take advantage of if you wish to earn elite nights cheaply and quickly. There are plenty of affordable hotels in the region and the one that I stayed at the most last year (for Titanium Elite requalification) was the Fairfield Kuala Lumpur Jalan Pahang which is near Chow Kit - the hotel has a serious noise problem but you don't have to worry about it if you are simply mattress-running.

As a quick reminder, Platinum Elite and Titanium Elite typically require 50 and 75 qualifying nights per calendar year but if you are planning to consume all of them during the promotional period, you can get both statuses with just 25 and 38 nights respectively. The 1,000 bonus points per night is just a nice icing on the cake.
