In fact, with my recent successes with getting pre-upgraded even as a Gold member, I may look towards obtaining Diamond for the year ahead by switching some stays over from Hyatt to Hilton. I have previously stayed in a Centennial Suite approximately three years ago but this year was the first time that i actually stayed in a recently-refurbished one.

The cool kids typically go to Seminyak and I have tried to be part of this club by staying at the Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort early last year but I did not actually like it - I liked the resort but not so much waking up in Seminyak. It goes without saying that if you are a Hilton Honors Diamond member, the place you can stay in Bali is the Conrad Bali as it is located in the quieter side of the island - Nusa Dua. I have stayed here previously in a Suite as well as a Deluxe Ocean View Room (even though these are currently being refurbished) but I was rather eager to check out the brand new Pool Villas which are newly-built.

It enjoys plenty of daylight and the view is amazing (as long as the weather in Beijing is good). I have previously stayed in an Executive Room and the Centennial Suite on multiple occasions but have always found the rooms to be dated and in need of a refresh. Therefore, when I found out back in May that the hotel was going to be undergoing a series of refurbishments, I was extremely excited since this is possibly the best hotel in Singapore that you can earn Hilton Honors points and nights.
