Last Phase of Refurbishment at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about my experience in one of the spanking new Club Rooms at the Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore and the amazing Club Lounge. Over the weekends, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore has engaged the Band of Doodlers to encourage guest participation by adding on to the art pieces.

For the last phase of refurbishment, a 17-meter large hoarding wall has been put up to close off the renovation space. The Band of Doodlers was invited to illustrate and decorate this blank canvas to mark the hotel's beginning of this last part of the journey. The Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore prides itself as a platform for young and emerging local talents to showcase their art pieces and products.
The new lobby and all day dining restaurant is expected to complete in December 2015 and the hotel will be introducing more art pieces and works of artists in due course.
I visited Beijing in China for the first time last month where I flew down from SIN to PEK on Singapore Airlines in Business Class (check out my trip report on SQ802 HERE!). As one of the first passengers to disembark from the plane, I was able to clear immigration fairly quickly and got out of the airport in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. I then met with a representative from Hotel Jen Beijing (which has only quite recently opened) in the public area of the Beijing Capital International Airport before hopping onto a vehicle that took me directly to this newly-built property that is directly connected to the China World Complex.
