New Earning Period (2016) for SPG and Uber Starts Today!
In order to continue earning SPG Points with your Uber rides, you will have to make at least one qualifying stay in this year. While the 2015 earning period has been extended to 31 January 2016, the 2016 earning period begins today (01 February 2016)! If you are based in Singapore, the Sheraton Towers Singapore offers the best value but the St. Regis Singapore is my personal favourite.
Do remember that you will only earn 1 Starpoint per US$1 spent on Uber when you are not staying. However, if you are staying in a Starwood Property, you will be able to earn up to 4 Starpoints per US$1 on top on whatever you earn from your eligible room charges.
