Double (2x) Shangri-La Golden Circle Award Points with Bonus for Completing Tasks - 8th Anniversary Celebration

Golden Circle members are now able to earn double award points whenever they stay, dine or enjoy spa treatments at any Shangri-La hotel, resort, Kerry hotel, Traders hotel and Hotel Jen before 18 January 2019. In celebration of Golden Circle’s 8th anniversary, members will be able to enjoy double the amount of Golden Circle award points (which is equivalent to at least 20% cashback when used for dining).

Additionally, Golden Circle will also be giving away 8 million award points - eligible members who complete the following tasks will also be able to earn up to 1,738 bonus points on top of the double bonuses (as well as other elite status bonuses):

  • Earn 350 points when staying 2 different hotel brands

  • Earn 500 points when staying 5 nights or above

  • Earn 888 points when staying 3 different hotels worldwide

Registration and reservations have to be made before the end of 18 November 2018 through an official channel in order to qualify. If you have not booked any stays using the Shangri-La Mobile App, you will also be rewards with 250 Golden Circle Award Points when you book your first stay via the app. I am currently checking whether American Express FHR rates are applicable for this promotion (if so, this is a great way to triple-dip on promotions!) and will update this article once I have an answer for an official source.
